Program Profile

Economics is a branch of science that seeks answers to the questions of which goods will be produced for whom, in what quantity, and by whom with limited resources and tries to perceive the mechanism of price formation. Science of Finance covers the activities related to the provision of the needed funds under appropriate conditions and their efficient use, and the subjects of individuals or institutions to obtain material income, make investments and evaluate these investments over time. Management Science deals with the management process and the facts and events related to management and the behavior of people working in the organization.

Islamic Sciences, on the other hand, are the main sources of Islam and they aim to study the principles of belief, worship, law, morality, and other subjects in its field at an academic level based on basic resources. In the department of Islamic Economics and Finance, you will approach issues related to economics, finance, management, and Islamic sciences from a multidisciplinary perspective. You will start your business life as a well-equipped graduate who will be able to offer different solutions to the global financial crises that have not fallen off the agenda in recent years and have been felt all over the world.

As a graduate of the Islamic Economics and Finance Department you can work at institutions such as BRSA, CBRT, SDIF, CMB, BIST, Undersecretariat of Treasury, Presidency of Religious Affairs, various ministries, Islamic Development Bank, IRTI, AAOIFI, IFSB, INCEIF as well as SESRIC.
