Studying in the department of psychology means to be equipped with psychology knowledge and scientific thinking skills, and to have the skills to disseminate, question, and produce the knowledge acquired.
The objective of the KTO Karatay University Department of Psychology is to educate individuals with a vast knowledge of psychology and scientific thinking skills, dissemination of know-how gained, and with a questioning and fertile mind. At the Department of Psychology, students are expected to implement their contemporary psychological knowledge in the light of ethical values and convert acquired skills into social awareness and engagement.
Career Opportunities
Our graduates receive a diploma with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Those who hold this diploma can work as a "psychologist" in public and private hospitals, nurseries and kindergartens, special education centers, industrial establishments, guidance centers, police departments, judicial institutions (family courts, prisons, and detention houses), and psychotechnics laboratories.
When you meet some specific conditions such as passing the exams you can also work at the institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.
